Amanda Woodhall

I have always been interested in the mental well-being of children. After graduating, in Australia, with a double degree in teaching and psychology I worked as a teacher, but I was always drawn to the emotional health of children. I worked and supported students in schools with learning difficulties and behavioural issues, before going on to complete my honours year in psychology. After graduating, I worked as a provisional psychologist in community mental health, treating adults with severe and complex mental health disorders. This led me to my current pathway, as a play therapist, focussing on early intervention, aiming to prevent serious mental health issues developing further in children.
